2018-06-28A.Rajasheker Reddy2 pages

THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY W.P.NO.20685 OF 2018

O R D E R

The grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is that the official respondents 3 to 5 are calling her and her family members to the police station, affecting their life and liberty and interfering with civil dispute. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions of Inspector of Police, Bandar Town Circle, Krishna District stating that a case in Cr.No.12/2016 dated 27.01.2016 has been registered against the petitioner and others for the offence punishable under Sections 120-B, 420, 466 and 471 IPC on the file of Station House Officer, Machilipatnam Town Police Station, Machilipatnam, Krishna District and the same is under investigation. In the written instructions the allegations with regard to calling the petitioner and her family members, affecting their life and liberty and interfering with the civil dispute, is denied.

Recording the above statement, the writ petition is disposed of. It goes without saying that police authorities shall not interfere with the civil dispute between the parties. However, this order will not preclude the official respondents from taking appropriate action in accordance with law for the purpose of investigation into the crime.

Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. No costs. --------------------------------------- A.RAJASHEKER REDDY,J DATE:28-06-2018 AVS
