ORDER

This writ petition is filed challenging the order dated 18.10.2006 passed by the respondent-Corporation rejecting the representation of the petitioner for reckoning his seniority from the date of his initial appointment i.e., 31.10.1986 instead of 18.04.1991.

In the earlier round of litigation, when the representation of petitioner was not considered, he filed W.P.No.2996 of 2006 and this Court vide order dated 1.9.2006 disposed of the same by directing the respondent-Corporation to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.08.2005 and pass appropriate orders thereon. Pursuant to the same, the impugned proceedings dated 18.10.2006 were issued clarifying the position for which the petitioner is entitled to. Challenging the said impugned proceedings, the present writ petition is filed.

When the writ petition is taken up for consideration, learned Standing Counsel for the respondent-Corporation produced before this Court the entire record relating to the case. The facts stated in the impugned proceedings are borne out by the record.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner perused the record and as the facts stated in the impugned proceedings are reflected in the record, he fairly submitted that the petitioner has no case for continuing the present proceedings.

Recording the said submission, the writ petition is closed. No costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
