The petitioner prays for the following relief: ".....this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondent No.4 in illegally shutting down the Gooty Branch, Anantapur Districty and seizing the cash and other records as illegal, improper, arbitrary, unreasonable and violative of principles of natural justice and also to direct the respondent No.2 to permit the legal business activities of the petitioner society through its branches all over A.P without any hindrance in their working and to direct the respondent No.3 to take appropriate action against all persons responsible for the illegal interference and threatening in the working of the Gooty branch and pass....
The Assistant Government Pleader by relying on written instructions dated 05.08.2013 submits that basing on the complaint lodged by one S.Narasimhulu, police registered Cr.No.194 of 2013 of Gooty Police Station against the Vice Chairman of petitioner Society and others and that the police have not locked the office of petitioner Society as alleged and the question of removing the lock does not arise. He further submits that except registering the above crime, the police have never harassed, threatened or interfered with the lawful business of petitioner Society at any point of time. The statement made basing on written instructions is placed on record.
The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of. There shall no order as to costs.
