THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V.BHATT WRIT PETITION No.4025 OF 2017 ORDER:

The petitioners are aggrieved by the inaction of 2nd respondent in hearing and disposing of the Appeal No.D/1330/2014 filed by the petitioners on 17.04.2014 under A.P.Rights In Land and Pattadar Pass Book Act, 1971, as illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional.

Heard Mr.C.Naresh Reddy, counsel for petitioners, the Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue and Mr.Abubakar for respondents 6 to 9.

I have perused the material available on record and prima facie, it appears that the complaint of petitioners against the 2nd respondent in disposing of the appeal is tenable. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents consent for disposing of the writ petition.

Hence, the 2nd respondent is directed to hear and dispose of the Appeal No.D/1330/2014, filed by the petitioners on 17.04.2014, within two months from today. The petitioners are given liberty to file memo before the 2nd respondent, by enclosing a copy of this order, for timely decision.

Writ Petition is disposed of by affording opportunity to both parties, as indicated above. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions pending consideration, if any, in this case shall stand closed in consequence.
