wp_15007_2016 ORDER: (per Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy) This Writ Petition is filed for the following substantive relief: "For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is hereby prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a writ, order or direction particularly one in the nature of Writ of Habeas Corpus, whereby directing the respondents to produce the detenue by name G.Ashok, S/o. Ramdas, aged about 53 years, now in jail, before this Hon'ble Court and order to set him at liberty by declaring the detention order dated 26-06-2015 in Proceedings SB(1) No. 320/PD/S1/2015, issued by the 2nd respondent as confirmed in G.O.Rt.No. 2453, General Administration (Law & Order) Department dated 02-09-2015 issued by the 1st respondent as illegal, arbitrary and violative of Article 21, 22 of the Constitution of India, and to pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deems fit just and proper in the circumstances of the case." 2.
At the hearing, Sri A.Prabhakar Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner, submitted that since the detenu has been released on completion of the maximum period of one year of detention, the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive for adjudication.
