Ramasubramanian) Aggrieved by the refusal of the university to grant affiliation to some of the undergraduate and post-graduate courses, the petitioners came up with the present writ petition. On 28.07.2016 we passed an interim order directing the university to include the petitioner-institutions for counselling for B.Tech-EEE course. Accordingly it was granted and the counselling is now over. Though there are several other courses, in respect of whose disaffiliation the petitioners are aggrieved, the petitioner focused mainly upon the disaffiliation to MBA course. Therefore, we directed Mr. A. Abhishek Reddy to get instructions.

On instructions it was pointed out by the learned counsel for the university that the persons, whom the petitioners wanted the university to consider as Doctorate degree holder for teaching MBA students, cannot be counted for various reasons. The learned counsel for the university also produced the minutes of the Selection Committee proceedings. In the light of the above we are of the considered view that for the current year, the affiliation for MBA cannot be considered.

Therefore, the writ petition is disposed of directing the university to regularize the affiliation granted to B.Tech-EEE for the current academic year. Insofar as the other courses are concerned, it will be open to the petitioners to make good the deficiencies and

W.P.No.24882/2016 the respondents shall process the matter well in advance for the next academic year. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
