The only grievance of the petitioner is that the appeal dated 18.04.2019 filed by the petitioner under Section 18(1) of the Right to Information Act, 2005, is not being disposed of by the respondent. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and there is no appearance on behalf of respondent.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.
