J The District Education officer, Ranga Reddy, Ranga Reddy District, The District Education Officer, Vikarabad, Vikarabad District. ...RESPONDENTS Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of lndia praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS declaring the action of the respondent no.4 issued the impugned Proc.No.ES/ES/RAA/IKA/SCASl0574, dt.2l-12-2021 allotting to Vikarabad District contrary to petitioner's option exercised to Ranga Reddy District as first preference as per Guidelines 20 and 23 framed under G.O.Ms.No.317 GAD dt.06-12-2021 despite availability of vacancies in Ranga Reddy District on the pretext that there is ban to certain districts without any written instructions or G.O., while allotting and re-allotting the Juniors ignoring the

seniors which is clearly illegal, arbitrary, discriminatory and unjust and set aside the same and consequently declare that the petitioner is entitled to be re-allotted as School Assistant (English) to Ranga Reddy District by considering the seniority as per merit and rank in preferences to less meritorious candidates with all consequential benefits.

lA NO: 't OF 2022 Petition under Section 151 CPC praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased to direct the respondents to consider the grievance of the petitioner for re-allotment to Ranga Reddy district by disposing the appeal d1.23-12-2021 and 21-07-2022 pending disposal of the above writ petition.

I THE HON'BLE SMT. JUSTICE P.MADHAVI DEVI W.P. No. 3O743 of 2022 ORDER:

This writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus to issue a direction to the respondents to consider the appeal of the petitioner dated 23.12.2021, for change of her local cadre on widow grounds. \

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits l I that the petitioner has filed an appeal on 23. I2.2O2I. 3.

However, the respondents have not taken any decision thereon.

4. The learned Government Pleader for School Education takes notice and submits that the appeal of the petitioner would be considered by the concerned authorities.

5. In view thereof, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.4 to take a decision on the appeal filed by the petitioner within a

period of (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall also stand closed.
