THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION Nos. 23643, 23661, 23669, 23703 and 23717 of 2019 COMMON ORDER:

In all these writ petitions, petitioners challenge the notices dated 25.09.2019 issued by respondent No.3 under Section 4 (1) of the Andhra Pradesh Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorised Occupants) Act, 1968, as applicable to the State of Telangana. The specific allegation of the petitioners is that though the impugned notices were issued on 25.09.2019 directing them to submit their explanation on or before 10.10.2019, the same were served on them on 23.10.2019.

On instructions, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents confirms that the impugned notices came to be served on the petitioners on 23.10.2019.

In view of the above, it would be fair to grant time to the petitioners to submit explanation to the impugned notices. In those circumstances, the time granted in the impugned notices for submitting the explanation on or before 10.10.2019 shall be treated as 10.11.2019 and thereby, the petitioners are permitted to submit their explanation. Thereupon, the respondent authorities shall consider the same and take further action in accordance with law.

The writ petitions are accordingly disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in these writ petitions shall also stand disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. _________________________ CHALLA KODANDA RAM, J Dt:31.10.2019 Note: Issue cc tomorrow.
