THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.39364 OF 2016 ORDER:

The writ petition is filed by the petitioner seeking a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents 1 to 4 in not registering the complaint dated 09.11.2016, as illegal and arbitrary, and consequently, to direct respondents 1 to 4 to register the crime against the accused and investigate the same.

Heard and perused the material.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner lodged the complaint, dated 09.11.2016, and that the respondents 1 to 4 are not registering the complaint of the petitioner and as such, he prays this Court to direct the fourth respondent to register the case against the accused and take action against them. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the fourth respondent to register the complaint of the petitioner if it discloses any cognizable offence, and conduct effective investigation and file final report, if any, in accordance with law.
