HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITON No.20580 of 2018 ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioner is that though she made complaint on 09-06-2018, the same was not registered. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition is filed. When the matter was listed on 27-06-2018, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions stating that on the point of jurisdiction, the complaint of the petitioner was transferred from I Town to II Town Vijayawada Police Station for taking further action and sought time for getting instructions and again when the matter was posted on 04-07-2018, he took time for getting instructions. Now the learned Assistant Government Pleader informs the Court that the respondent-police will take action on the complaint of the petitioner in terms of guidelines laid down in the judgment of Lalitha Kumari v. Government of Uttar Pradesh1.

In view of the same, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent-police to take action on the complaint of the petitioner by following the guidelines laid down in Lalitha Kumari's case cited supra. The concerned police also directed to take action for transferring the case. As a sequel to the disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
