This Writ Petition is filed questioning the action of the respondents in not allotting the students of English Medium for 1 Unit of 50 students for petitioner institution in the convenor quota in ongoing counselling for DEECET to be held from 31.8.2017 to 6.9.2017 as illegal and arbitrary.

The relief which the petitioner claimed is in relation to the dates 31.08.2017 and 06.09.2017 which are already passed. In those circumstances, the main prayer has become infructuous. However, considering the fact that the spot admissions are being made, the respondents may explore the possibility of making any spot admissions subject to the eligibility of the petitioners. With the above observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
