ORAL ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

2.

Petitioners allege that Tahsildar-3rd respondent erroneously made entries of names of respondents 4 to 9 in the revenue records. Against the said action, petitioners filed appeal before Revenue Divisional Officer-2nd respondent under Section 5 (b) of AP Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971 and the same was numbered as Appeal No. 4080 of 2017. Limited grievance of the petitioners in the present writ petition is that even though appeal was entertained, no further progress is made, causing undue hardship and suffering to petitioners. 3.

Having regard to the fact that appeal was already entertained, pleadings are completed, I see no justification for appellate authority in not disposing of the appeal so far. Therefore, appellate authority is directed to expedite the hearing of the appeal and hear on day today basis by fixing a date in advance, intimating all the parties concerned and dispose of the same within six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4.

Accordingly, writ petition is disposed of.

No costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, are closed. __________________ P NAVEEN RAO,J DATE: 30-10-2019 TVK
