THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.16760 of 2010 ORDER:

This Writ Petition was filed challenging the action of the respondents in harassing the petitioner by coming to his residence and office and calling him to attend the office of the respondents or of their subordinates office without following due process of law. Learned Government Pleader, on the basis of oral instructions, submits that the petitioner is involved in some criminal cases and he was called in connection with the same only.

However, in view of long lapse of time after filing the Writ Petition, this Court thinks that it is not necessary to adjudicate the issue raised in the Writ Petition as sought in the relief and it is sufficient if an observation is made that the respondents shall not interfere with the personal liberty of the petitioner, except in accordance with law.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, closed. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall also stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. ________________________________ (A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO, J) 25.04.2016 vs
