HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 16014 of 2002 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of certiorari calling for the proceedings dated 02.03.2002 issued by the respondent and quash the same holding it as illegal and arbitrary. A consequential direction is also sought to reinstate the petitioner into service by reviewing the order of suspension with all consequential benefits.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is brought to the notice of the Court that the petitioner had retired from service during pendency of the writ petition.

Therefore, the cause in the writ petition does not survive and, accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
