This petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to quash the proceedings against the petitioners-accused Nos.1, 2 and 4 in C.C.No.236 of 2000 on the file of the Court of the III Metropolitan Magistrate, Visakhapatnam (old), I Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Visakhapatnam (new).

Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the purpose of filing the petition has become infructuous. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
