THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.30751 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India is filed seeking a direction to the 3rd respondent to proceed with the investigation in F.I.R. No.41 of 2016 and take action against the 4th respondent.

Heard and perused the material available on record. The grievance of the petitioner is that on a complaint filed by her against the 4th respondent and others, the 3rd respondent herein registered a case in F.I.R. No.41 of 2016 on 13.2.2016 for the offences under Sections 420, 498-A and Sections 3 & 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, but so far no steps have been taken.

Considering the grievance of the petitioner, the 3rd respondent is directed to complete the investigation in F.I.R. No.41 of 2016 as expeditiously as possible and file a final report, if any, either way in accordance with law.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Pending Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall stand closed. _________________ RAJA ELANGO,J 18.10.2016.
