Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Government Pleader and perused the record.

According to petitioner, his father Ishaq Ahmed Quadri was appointed as General Power of Attorney of Mohd.Abdul Iqbal registered on 14.7.2014 in respect of property bearing H.No.10176/6/1 on Plot Nos.126 and 127 in Sy.No.202 admeasuring 200 sq.yards situated Bismillah Colony, Balapur village and mandal, Ranga Reddy district. The said Mohd.Abdul Iqbal claims to have purchased the said property from one Mohammed Abdul Raheem Qureshi by way of registered sale deed dated 8.7.2008 bearing Document No.2841/08. Father of petitioner registered the subject property in favour of petitioner vide registered sale deed dated 17.10.2016 and thereafter petitioner is in possession and enjoyment of the same. According to petitioner, mother of 5th respondent executed a Gift Settlement Deed dated 18.5.2016 in favour of 5th respondent in respect of subject property and the same was registered by the 4th respondent-Sub-Registrar, which is under challenge in the present writ petition. 3.

Writ petition is not maintainable against registration of Gift Settlement Deed and for setting aside the same in exercise of power of judicial review under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. If a person is aggrieved by registration of gift settlement deed, affecting his property rights, he has to avail civil law remedy within the period of limitation. The writ petition is misconceived and is liable to be dismissed.
