THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.20552 of 2018 ORDER:

Heard learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and Sri Sampath Prabhakar Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for respondent-Municipal Corporation.

Pursuant to the notice issued under Section 213 of the H.M.C.Act, 1955, requiring the petitioner to furnish the information in respect of the property, owned by the petitioner, to determine the ratable value, the Deputy Commissioner, Saroornagar Circle, Circle No.25, GHMC, Hyderabad, issued a Property Tax Special Notice-Revision under Section 220 (A-1) &

(2) of GHMC Act, 1955, fixing a total of Rs.42,454/- payable towards the property tax.

The information available before this Court discloses that on04.04.2018, the petitioner herein filed a revision before the respondent-Municipal Corporation and according to the petitioner, the same is pending consideration before the respondent-Municipal Corporation.

Since, the statutory revision is pending consideration before the respondent-Municipal Corporation, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the Writ Petition, with a direction to the respondents No.2 and 3 to verify the said revision and pass appropriate orders after giving opportunity to the petitioner herein, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
