THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION NO.23698 OF 2019 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed with the following prayer: "...to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction more in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the 2nd respondent in declaring the petitioner as disqualified to hold the post of Constable from Medak District even though the petitioner was declared himself belongs to Ranga Reddy District and got more than cut off marks for appointment as Constable i.e., 105.21 marks as per Normalisation Rules of the 2nd respondent himself as he belongs to Ranga Reddy District as being illegal, arbitrary and is in violation of Articles 14, 16 and 21 of the Constitution of India, and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to appoint the petitioner as Constable by taking his native District as Ranga Reddy, and to pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deems fit, just and proper."

When the matter has come up for hearing, learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondent Nos.2 and 3, on instructions, informs this Court that the respondents are considering the case of the petitioner for appointment to the post of Police Constable (AR) treating the petitioner as a local candidate of Ranga Reddy District.

This Court, having considered the above said submission, is of the considered view that this Writ Petition can be disposed of directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment to the post of Police Constable (AR) by treating the petitioner as a candidate belonging to Ranga Reddy District and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
