THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION Nos.27835 and 28352 of 2012 ORDER:

These two writ petitions are filed challenging the action of respondents in demolishing the portion of houses of petitioners for the alleged purpose of road widening.

This Court by interim orders dated 07.09.2012 and 10.09.2012 directed the respondents not to demolish the houses of the petitioners without following due process of law. Learned counsel for petitioners submits that by the date of passing the aforesaid interim orders itself a portion of the houses was already demolished, road was laid and the same is also being used by the public.

In the above circumstances, these writ petitions are disposed of giving liberty to petitioners to submit a representation to the respondents for payment of compensation, if any, for the portion of land of the petitioners, where they have titled, utilised for the purpose of road widening, and the respondents shall consider the same in accordance with law. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in these writ petitions shall stand closed.
