THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SEETHARAMA MURTI M.A.C.M.A.No.4588 of 2008 JUDGMENT:

The learned counsel for the appellants submits that the matter has been settled out of Court and that an Award has been passed by the Lok Adalat Bench at Hyderabad.

Heard the learned counsel for the appellants and perused the Award. Though the learned counsel for the 2nd respondent/The Oriental Insurance Company Limited did not appear before the Lok Adalat, the authorised signatory of the said Company had appeared before the Lok Adalat and after the matter is amicably settled, the Adalat Bench presided over by a Chairman, who is a former Judge of this Court, had passed an Award. The identity and authority of the person, who had appeared before the Adalat, is not in dispute. In view of the above, the MACMA is disposed of in terms of the Award of the Lok Adalat Bench at Hyderabad.

Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this appeal shall stand closed.
