OFFICE NOTE 05.09.2022 KS,J I.A.No.1 of 2022 This Application has been filed by the petitioner/accused No.1 seeking relaxation of the condition imposed upon him by reducing the surety amount from Rs.50,000/-with two sureties for the like sum each to any amount this Court deem fit, imposed by this Court in Crl.P.No.6701 of 2022 by order dated 17.08.2022 while granting bail to him, in connection with Crime No.486 of 2022 on the file of SR Nagar Police Station, Hyderabad for the offence under Section 8(c), 27 read with Section 22(c) of NDPS Act, 1985.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner/accused No.1, the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor representing the respondent-State and perused the record.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the bail was granted on 17.08.2022, the petitioner is languishing in jail and he has no resources to give the surety amount, in the said circumstances, learned counsel seeks reduction of the surety amount from Rs.50,000/- to any amount this Court deem fit.

OFFICE NOTE In the said circumstances, for the reason of the petitioner/A1 languishing in jail, this Court is inclined to reduce the surety amount from Rs.50,000/- to Rs.25,000/- with two sureties for the like sum each among which one is local surety and the other is native surety. The other conditions imposed by this Court shall remain unaltered. With this modification, I.A. is ordered.
