The case of the petitioners is that they have filed appeals before the 2nd respondent on 03.03.2012 under Section 72 of the Registration Act, 1908 against the refusal order passed by the 3rd respondent. As the same is not being disposed of till date, present writ petition is filed. Heard both sides.
Since the petitioners have already filed appeals before the 2nd respondent, without expressing any opinion on merits, the 2nd respondent is directed to dispose of the appeals filed by the petitioners under Section 72 of the Registration Act, in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
