THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No.3997 of 2015 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri A.Rama Rao, learned Standing Counsel for APSRTC appearing for the respondents.

Petitioner was appointed as Conductor and on 12.01.2015, when RTC Constable of Piler Depot has conducted a check, he was found to have consumed alcohol. On that ground, he was kept under suspension by the Depot Manager, Piler vide order, dated 17.01.2015 and on the same date, he was also given charge sheet requiring him to submit his explanation. Though the order of suspension is challenged in this Writ Petition, similar contentions as raised in this Writ Petition are already considered and rejected in Writ Petition No.3627 of 2015 dated 19.02.2015.

In view of order, dated 19.02.2015, I am not inclined to entertain this Writ Petition.

The Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed. However, it is appropriate to direct respondents 2 and 3 to ensure that disciplinary enquiry initiated against the petitioner in pursuance of the charge sheet is conducted as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
