HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 14123 OF 2006 ORDER:

The present Writ Petition came to be filed seeking a direction to the respondents to renew the insurance cover of the vehicles of the members of petitioner association on the terms and conditions fixed by the Tariff Advisory Committee, for the year 2006.

It is represented by the learned counsel for the respondents and also the learned Government Pleader that the matter has been settled between lorry owners association and the Insurance Company.

In view of the above and since the relief prayed is for the year 2006 and having regard to the interim orders granted earlier, this Court is of the opinion that nothing survives for adjudication in this Writ Petition at this point of time. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. However, it is always open to the petitioner association to avail remedies available under law, if there is any grievance with regard to existing policies. No costs.

Consequently, the Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall also stand closed.
