ORDER
Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Even after taking notice on 24.07.2017, none appears for the 2nd respondent.
The petitioner states that Peerla Panja situated at Ichapuram Village is a notified Wakf Institution. It has lands in Sy.No.1199 (old), New Survey No.204/3 situated at Bellupada Revenue Village, Ichapuram. The petitioner was the Mutawali of Jamia Masjid and also Mutawali of the said Wakf Institution. He was removed from the post of Mutawali in 1988. Thereafter, the Wakf Institution is under direct management of the Wakf Board. During the direct management of the Wakf Board, several encroachers occupied the land. Hence, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 10.09.2016 to the 2nd respondent for taking necessary action and when no action is taken, the present writ petition is filed.
In view of the nature of relief sought for in the present writ petition, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing respondents 1
and 2 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.9.2016 and take necessary action in accordance with law. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
