None appears for the petitioner.

A perusal of the record discloses that the petitioner was aged about 40 years at the time of filing the writ petition, which was filed challenging the suspension order dated 22.02.2001. As on today, the petitioner must be on the verge of retirement.

In view of the same, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication and it has become infructuous. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
