HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 20783 of 2016 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed assailing inaction on the part of the respondent authorities in updating the data in computer systems relating to pattadar pass books issued in favour of the petitioners.

It is the case of the petitioners that they have made an application on 27.01.2014 through 'Meeseva' seeking to update the details in respect of the land in Sy.No.18, admeasuring Ac.50.00 guntas comprised in Dhampur Village, Gudihatnoor Mandal, Adilabad Distrct. Though two years have elapsed, no action has been taken on the aforesaid representation. The matter came up for admission on 28.06.2016. On that

day, considering the request of the learned Government Pleader to get instructions in the matter, the matter was directed to be listed on 8.7.2016, on which day, the learned Government Pleader sought further time for getting instructions. When the matter is listed to day, no instructions have been obtained by the learned Government Pleader.

Considering the relief sought for in the Writ Petition, which is only for consideration of the application made by the petitioners through 'Meeseva" on 27.01.2014 as is evidenced from the 'Meeseva' receipt filed before this Court, interest of justice would be served if a direction is given to the respondent authorities to consider the representation of the petitioners and pass appropriate orders. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representation stated to have been submitted by the petitioners through 'Meeseva' on 27.01.2014 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Miscellaneous petitions pending consideration if any in the Writ Petition shall stand closed in consequence. No order as to costs.
