HONOURABLE JUSTICE G. SRI DEVI I.A.Nos.3 and 4 of 2019 In/and CRIMINAL PETITION No. 7032 of 2019 ORDER:

The petitioners, who are A1 and A4 in C.C.No.550 of 2017 on the file of the XIII Addl. Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad, filed this Criminal Petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to quash the proceedings in the above C.C. A charge sheet came to be filed against the petitioners for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 406 and 420 IPC and 4 of D.P. Act.

2. It is submitted that the 2nd respondent/de facto complainant along with her husband and elders participated in the mediation at the instance of their family persons and well wishers and came to an amicable settlement and both have agreed for settling the issue in the form of compromise and accordingly, they have decided their issues and presently, the de facto complainant has no objection if the proceedings in the above C.C. are quashed. It is further submitted that all the claims have been fully and finally satisfied and she will not claim any further amount from the petitioners. Therefore, it is prayed to record the compromise and quash the proceedings. Accordingly, the de facto complainant filed I.A.Nos.3 and 4 of 2019 to record the compromise and to compound the

offences. Along with the petitions, a joint memo came to be filed, which is supported by the affidavit of the second respondent.

3. Today, both the parties are present before this Court and submitted Aadhar cards, which show their identity. They are also identified by their respective counsel. This Court, when examined, both the parties have stated that at the instance of the elders, they have settled the matter out of the Court and the second respondent has no objection for quashing the proceedings against the petitioners.

4. In the light of the compromise arrived at between the parties, the compromise memo filed by both the parties is recorded and I.A.Nos.3 and 4 of 2019 are ordered.

5. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is allowed in terms of compromise, and the proceedings in C.C.No.550 of 2017 on the file of the XIII Addl. Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad, against the present petitionersA1 and A4 are hereby quashed. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending shall stand closed.
