HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE V. RAMASUBRAMANIAN AND HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE N. BALAYOGI L.A.A.S.No.99 of 2012 ORDER: (V. Ramasubramanian, J) The Land Acquisition Officer-cum-Special Deputy Collector, Gadwal, has come up with the above appeal under Section 54 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894, aggrieved by the enhancement of compensation granted by the Reference Court.

2. Heard the learned Government Pleader for Appeals (Telangana) and the learned counsel for the respondents-land owners.

3. The lands belonging to the respondents were acquired for the establishment of a Rehabilitation and Resettlement Centre for displaced persons. A common award was passed in a batch of cases on 20-03-2006. Aggrieved by the fixation of compensation by the Land Acquisition Officer, references were sought under Section 18 of the Act.

4. All the references were taken up together in a group by the Senior Civil Judge, Gadwal. After evidence, the reference Court enhanced the compensation by fixing the market value at Rs.94/- per square meter by a common order dated 17-08-2009 passed in O.P.No.10 of 2007 and batch. It is against the said award that the Land Acquisition Officer has come up.

5. The order of the reference Court dated 17-08-2009 in O.P.No.10 of 2007 became the subject matter of yet another batch

VRS, J & NBY, J LAAS.No.99 of 2012 of cases. Those batch of cases in LAAS.No.87 of 2012 etc, were disposed of by a Bench of this Court recently on 22-03-2017, following the judgment of the Supreme Court in SLP (Civil) No.2040 of 2008. Therefore, following the same, this appeal is also dismissed.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
