CVNR,J & GSP,J C.C.Nos.1426,1432,1451 and 1463 of 2018 COMMON ORDER: (Per the Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy) These contempt cases are filed alleging willful disobedience of common judgment, dated 02.02.2018, in W.P.No.16330 of 2015 and batch.

At the hearing, Mr.G.Vidya Sagar, learned senior counsel appearing for respondent No.2 in C.C.Nos.1426 and 1432 of 2018, respondent Nos.2, 4 and 5 in C.C.No.1451 of 2018 and respondent Nos.2 to 4 in C.C.No.1463 of 2018, has placed before this Court, the Supreme Court's order, dated 09.07.2018, which reads as under.

"Delay condoned.

Issue notice.

Dasti service, in addition, is permitted.

Both the learned senior counsel appearing for the parties submitted that they would maintain the status quo, as it exists today, in relation to the subject matter of the case.

We record their statement.

It is then stated at the Bar that the other identical matter is fixed for hearing on 29th August, 2018. List these matters on 29th August, 2018 along with S.L.P.(Civil) No.9138 of 2018."

Mr.S.Sri Ram Reddy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners in C.C.Nos.1426 and 1432 of 2018 and Mr.Ravi Shankar Jandhyala, learned counsel for the petitioners in

CVNR,J & GSP,J C.C.Nos.1426,1432,1451 and 1463 of 2018 C.C.Nos.1451 and 1463 of 2018, have not disputed that all the parties have agreed for maintaining status quo as it existed on the date of the Supreme Court passing the order i.e., 09.07.2018 in relation to the subject matter of the cases pending before the Supreme Court arising out of the aforementioned judgment of the Division Bench of this Court. Having thus agreed to maintain status quo, the petitioners cannot pursue these contempt cases during the pendency of the cases before the Supreme Court. 4.

Therefore, these Contempt Cases are closed, without adjudicating on the merits of the cases, with liberty to the petitioners to avail fresh remedies subject to the outcome of the cases pending before the Supreme Court.
