Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue for respondents. 2.

Petitioner claims that his grandfather was inamdar of agricultural land to an extent of Acs.18-31 guntas in Sy.No.1034 A, Ac.1-28 guntas in Sy.No.1038 AA and Acs.4-06 guntas in Sy.No.1039 of Nimmalagudem Village, Sujathanagar Mandal, Bhadradri-Kothagudem District and he was granted Neeradi Inam by the erstwhile Nizam Government in Singabhupalem Tank. His grandfather's name was reflected in possession and title holder column and also recorded as Neeradi Inam in Kasra Pahani. After the demise of his grandfather lands were inherited by his father and after his death, three sons including petitioner have succeeded, whereas one son died. Petitioner claims to have submitted application for grant of Occupancy Right Certificate. In response, notice in Form-II was issued on 01.07.2019 by the Revenue Divisional Officer. Alleging that there is no further progress, this writ petition is filed.

A copy of the notice issued by the RDO on 01.07.2019 is filed as Ex.P.1.

In view thereof, without expressing any opinion on merits the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the RDO-3rd respondent to finalize the claim of petitioner and pass appropriate orders as warranted by law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and communicate the same to the

- 3 - petitioner. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
