Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue for the respondents. 2.
Petitioner claims that he is the owner and in possession of the agricultural land admeasuring Acs.17.18 guntas under Katha No.500 in Survey Nos.25-E, 26-E, 27-E, 176, 177, 178, 180-E, 241-C, 242-B and 253-A of Machupally Village, Kodair Mandal, Nagarkarnool District, having succeeded to the said property through family partition. He alleges that his name was mutated in the revenue records and was issued pattadar passbook and title deeds. As per the revised policy of the Government, petitioner is entitled to issuance of new pattadar passbook and title deeds. However, in the list prepared by the revenue authorities, the name of the petitioner was not found and he was not issued new pattadar passbook and title deeds. Surprised and shocked by the said development, he made representation on 10.05.
2018 to the Tahsildar, Kodair Mandal, Nagarkurnool District, the 4th respondent, to rectify the said mistake and issue new pattadar passbook and title deeds to him. But, so far the said mistake is not rectified and new pattadar passbook and title deeds are not issued to him, causing hardship to him. Hence, the Writ Petition. 3.
Having regard to the fact that representation, dated 10.05.2018, was already made by the petitioner and the same is pending consideration of the 4th respondent, without expressing
- 3 - any opinion on merits, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 4th respondent to consider the representation dated 10.05.2018 made by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders, by assigning due reasons in support of his decision and communicate the same to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
