Heard the Assistant Government Pleader for Home. The petitioner prays for Mandamus declaring the action of 3rd respondent in calling the petitioner and his family members to Bibi Nagar Police Station and manhandling them in the absence of a case, as illegal and unconstitutional.

The prayer substantially discloses the cause of action for filing the writ petition. The 3rd respondent on receipt of notice, states thus:

"It is respectfully submitted that, the allegations of the petitioner that, this respondent has threatened the petitioner to comply with the demand of his wife-4th respondent herein or else they will be implicated in criminal cases are incorrect, far from truth and baseless." The statement is placed on record and the writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No order as to costs.
