Today, when the matter is taken up, a letter dated 21.6.2018 addressed by the Head Master and Correspondent of the petitioner School Sri D.Srinivasulu, stating that they would vacate the subject premises by August 2018. The said letter is placed on record by the learned counsel for the petitioner. 2.
Having regard to the said letter and the contents of the same, this Court, keeping in view the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for Respondent Corporation, deems it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition, granting time to the petitioner till 7.8.2018 for vacating the subject premises. If the petitioner does not adhere to the above assurance, it is open for the Respondent authorities to proceed with the process of laying the road. It is also made clear that if any untoward incident takes place during the above period, the petitioner alone will be held responsible for all civil and criminal consequences.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
