COUNSEL FOR THE PETITIONER : SRI G.ANANDAM COUNSEL FOR THE RESPONDENTS : GP FOR REVENUE (TS) THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C.V.NAGARJUNA REDDY WRIT PETITION No.20280 of 2015
ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed for a mandamus to declare the inaction of respondent No.2 in issuing appropriate directions to respondent No.3 to redress the grievance of the petitioner in respect of correction of extent of land in Survey No.369 in the Vasul Baki Register as illegal and arbitrary. The petitioner has pleaded that he is the owner of Acs.4.10 guntas of land in Survey No.369. That total extent of land in Survey No.369 is Acs.4.10 guntas as per the Survey and Settlement Record, but recently, the petitioner came to know that the Land Reforms Tribunal has computed the said extent as Acs.7.40 cents. The petitioner approached respondent No.3 to verify Vasul Baki Register and correct the same by recording the extent of the land as Acs.4.10 guntas instead of Acs.7.40 cents. As respondent No.
3 has not taken any action, the petitioner approached respondent No.2 for issuance of appropriate directions to respondent No.3. As no action has been taken thereon, he has filed this Writ Petition. In my opinion, the grievance of the petitioner is not only innocuous but also justifiable. As the petitioner has not substantiated his plea that he has submitted a representation to respondent No.3, he is permitted to submit such a representation within two weeks. Within one month from the date of receipt of such representation, respondent No.3 shall hold an enquiry after notice to the petitioner and pass appropriate order on such representation and communicate the same to the petitioner.
Subject to the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. As a sequel to disposal of writ petition, WPMP.No.26138 of 2015 filed by the petitioner for interim relief is disposed of as infructuous.
C.V.NAGARJUNA REDDY, J 6th JULY, 2015.
