HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE T. VINOD KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.23856 OF 2019 ORDER (ORAL) :

This Writ Petition is filed questioning the inaction of respondent No.3 - Station House Officer, Amrabad Police Station, Nagarkurnool District, in registering his complaint dated 27.10.2018 as being illegal and arbitrary.

2. Heard Sri Ch. Shiva Krishna, learned counsel for the petitioner, and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondent No.3, and perused the material on record.

3. The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home based on the written instructions dated 11.11.2019, a copy of which is placed before this Court, would submit that the complaint dated 27.10.2018 was never received and after coming to know about filing of the present writ petition, respondent No.3 caused enquiry and learnt that based on the petitioner's complaint, a case has been registered in Crime No.27 of 2019, on 10.09.2019 itself, for the offences punishable under Sections 420 and 506 of Indian Penal Code, 1860, by Padara Police Station. He would further submit that informing the same, a notice was sent to the petitioner through registered post on 09.11.2019 stating that no action can be taken on his complaint as already a case is registered based on his complaint at Padara Police Station.

4. In view of the aforesaid submission made by the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home on behalf of respondent No.3, this Court is of the view that no further orders are required to be passed in the matter.

5. Therefore, recording the submission of the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, the Writ Petition is closed. No order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition stand closed.
