O R D E R :

This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner/accused under section 437 and 439 of Cr.P.C., seeking to enlarge him on bail in Crime No. 216 of 2016 of Ravulapalem Police Station, Visakhapatnam district, registered for the offences punishable under section 8 [c] read with section 20 [b] [ii] of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

2. Heard the counsel for the petitioner/A-3 and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the State.

3. Keeping in view the huge quantity of ganja weighing 784 Kgs found in a car bearing No. AP-37-AX-3499, section 37 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 will come into play.

4. Finding no merit, the Criminal Petition is dismissed.

5. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions if any, pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
