No representation on behalf of the petitioners. 2.

The docket proceedings would show that the matter underwent few adjournments earlier either because a request was made or there was no representation on behalf of the petitioners. 3.

On 30.12.2015 there was no representation on behalf of the petitioners. Therefore, the writ petition was directed to be listed after pongal vacation, 2016.

On 16.02.2016 a request was made on behalf of the petitioners that the GPA holder passed away and sought time to take steps. On such request matter was directed to be listed after two weeks. On 01.03.2016 again further time was sought and having noticed that the petitioners were not interested to pursue the matter, this Court directed the writ petition to be listed under the caption 'for dismissal' after two weeks.

The matter was again listed on 12.09.2017 and on the said date also there was no representation and the Court directed the matter to be taken up after Dasara Vacation, 2017. 6.

Today when the matter is called, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioners. The record also discloses that no steps were taken as per the request made on 16.02.2016 and 01.03.2016. It appears the parties are not interested in prosecuting the litigation.

Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
