Petitioners And State of Telangana, rep. by its Principal Secretary, Revenue Department, Secretariat Building, Hyderabad & others.

Respondents This court made the following :

ORDER :

Heard learned counsel for petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Revenue and perused the record.

2.

Aggrieved by the orders of the 4th respondent-Tahsildar dated 29.10.2014, directing the Village Revenue Officer, Garmilla to mutate the name of 5th respondent in the revenue records, petitioners preferred Appeal before the 3rd respondent-Revenue Divisional Officer on 2.8.2018 and the said appeal was returned with objections vide memo dated 6.8.2019. Learned counsel for petitioners submits that after complying with the said objections, though the appeal was resubmitted, 3rd respondent-appellate authority is not acknowledging the same, which is causing great hardship to the petitioners. 3.

Having regard to the said submission and without going into merits of the matter, the 3rd respondent-Revenue Divisional Officer is directed to receive and process the appeal submitted by the petitioners and if the petitioners (appellants) have complied with the objections raised and appeal is otherwise in order, he shall register the same and issue notices to the opposite party and after affording due opportunity to the parties, the appellate authority shall finalise the appeal within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
