HONOURABLE Dr. JUSTICE B.SIVA SANKARA RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.8376 of 2015 ORDER :

This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioners/accused under Section 482 Cr.P.C seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.3 of 2012 on the file of I Additional Judicial I Class Magistrate, Warangal, where cognizance was taken for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A I.P.C. and 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

2) The defacto-complainant and A3 representing others as General Power of Attorney Holder are present and they want to compound the above offences. Having heard the parties permission is thereby accorded as the parties stated that they amicably settled the matter to purchase peace and permit to compound the above offences. Accordingly, the offences are compounded in terms of their compromise at the instance of the defacto-complainant since present with the accused.

3) Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is allowed and all the proceedings relating to C.C.No.3 of 2012 on the file of I Additional Judicial I Class Magistrate, Warangal, are quashed. The bail bonds of the petitioners, if any, shall stand cancelled.
