HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.4434 OF 2017 ORDER:
The case of the petitioner is that their family owns vast extents of land in and around Kondamadugu Village, Bibi Nagar Mandal, Nalgonda District in Survey Nos.597, 606, 607, 612, 618, 619, 620, 621, 628, 629 and 630 and that these lands are his ancestral properties and were recorded in the name of petitioner's father Lingala Guru Lingam Goud and they have got lawful share in the same. While so, the petitioner applied for grant of succession in his favour for all properties including the subject lands after the death of his father who died on 14.01.2006, and they also filed necessary affidavit before the 3rd respondent. During such period, they came to know that the revenue records were in respect of subject land were altered by entering the name of the 4th respondent in place of petitioner's father. Aggrieved by the same, present writ petition is filed.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue.
The petitioner has not mentioned in the affidavit the extent of lands owned by him or his father and no date is mentioned as to when he applied for grant of succession. It is also not clear that as to when the entries in the revenue
records were altered. In view of the same, I do not see any reason to entertain the writ petition.
Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. However it is open for the petitioner to seek appropriate remedy for correction of entries in the revenue records and also for grant of succession for mutation of their names. No order as to costs.
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous applications, if any, pending, shall stand closed.
