When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for petitioner states that pursuant to the interim direction granted by this court on 24.07.2007, the petitioner has been promoted.

The learned Assistant Solicitor General did not oppose for the same.

In view of the above submission, no further orders are necessary in the writ petition.

Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. No costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this writ Petition shall stand closed.
