THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 31878 OF 2017 O R D E R:

This Writ Petition is filed questioning the action of the 2nd respondent in not investigating and not taking action against the accused in Crime No.374 of 2017, dated 19.08.2017. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Home (AP).

As it is the allegation of the petitioner that the respondent No.5, who is the main culprit in Crime No.374 of 2017 on the file of Ongole Taluka Police Station, is likely to escape to United States of America, petitioner is at liberty to place necessary material before the 4th respondent-Superintendent of Police, Ongole, Prakasam District, who shall in-turn take appropriate action after verification of the same.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Consequently, the Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
