ORAL ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services- I (TG) and with their consent the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage.

Petitioner is aggrieved by initiation of disciplinary proceedings vide G.O.Rt No. 214 dated 24.4.2018. Though, extensive submissions are made, learned counsel for petitioner fairly submitted that if time limit is fixed for completing the disciplinary proceedings, it would suffice the interest of the petitioner, for the present. Further, he also seeks leave to raise all contentions including the delay in concluding the proceedings before the disciplinary authority and fact that proceedings are dropped against others, who are involved in the same disciplinary action.

Granting the said liberty and subject to petitioner filing his explanation within two weeks from today, respondents are directed to complete the disciplinary proceedings as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from the date of submission of explanation by petitioner. Accordingly, writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, are closed.
