HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO WRIT PETITION No.30168 OF 2012 ORDER:

The petitioners seek writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in deducting the crop insurance premium from the crop loans released and to be released to the petitioners/members at the rate of 1% to 12.5% towards the crop insurance premium for Kharif and Rabi seasons 2012-2013 as illegal, arbitrary, violation of provisions of Constitution of India and Contract Act and declare the same as optional and pass such other order.

When the matter is called, learned counsel for petitioners submits that the subject matter in the writ petition has become infructuous since the relief sought for in the present writ petition is pertaining to the crop period for the years 2012-2013, which was over long back. 3.

Recording the said submission, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
