HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITON No.20816 of 2018 ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioner is that the concerned Station House Officer has not received the complaint given by the petitioner against the 3rd respondent. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition is filed.

Heard learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. If the concerned Station House Officer is not responding to his complaint, the petitioner has alternative remedy under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C. for approaching the higher authorities. In case, the petitioner files application under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C., the concerned authority has to take action on the same in terms of judgment of Apex Court in Lalitha Kumari v. Government of Uttar Pradesh1.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel to the disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
