This Writ Petition is filed seeking to declare the action of the respondents in issuing order Rc.No. 2-25410/02 dated 27.04.2012, unilaterally enhancing the existing rent more than 33 1/3% in respect of Shop No.

F.F., Garimella Sathyanarayana Shopping Complex, Vijayawada, as arbitrary and illegal and a consequential direction has sought to direct the respondents to continue the petitioner as lessee in the shop No. F.F. by receiving the enhanced 33 1/3% rent over the existing rent.

Counter affidavit has been filed by the respondents, stating that on 08.05.2013, the petitioner was called for negotiations and he has agreed to pay the rents prescribed by V.M.C. and also has remitted the rents up to date to the respondent Municipal Corporation. 3.

In view of the categorical statement made in the counter affidavit, the Writ Petition is closed as no further orders are necessary. No orders as to costs.
