Heard Mr.L.Prabhakar Reddy for petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for respondents. The Assistant Government Pleader objects the maintainability of writ petition by contending that the facts and circumstances of the case would go to show that the objections even if are tenable, the petitioner ought to work out the jurisdiction of 2nd respondent under Section 9 of the A.P.Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 (for short 'the Act). He relies on Kuruva Hanumanthamma v. Prl. Secy., Revenue Dept., Hyderabad and others1.

I have taken note of the objections raised by the petitioner and also the remedy available under Section 9 of the Act.

This Court gives liberty to petitioner to avail the remedy of revision within four (04) weeks from today. The petitioner can also enclose a copy of this order before the 2nd respondent.

The parties are directed to maintain status quo in all aspects for a period of four (04) weeks from today. It is open to petitioner to make application as is deemed 1 2017 (6) ALT 449

necessary before the revisional authority for further orders in this behalf and the same is to be considered on merits.

Writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, shall stand closed.
